Gift card balances report

The Gift card balances report shows how much is still on each gift card. The total is money you owe to your gift card holders.

What the Gift card balances report shows

Each row is one gift card issued in the date range, sold or added by hand, with what's left on it now. The last row, Outstanding liability, adds up every balance. Choose All Time to see every card you have.

Open the report

    From the main menu, go to Reports.

    Click Gift card balances. The report opens for this month.

  3. 3

    Click Filters to change the Location or Date range, then click Apply. See Run and filter reports.

Columns

  • Gift Card Number - the card's number.
  • Purchaser - who paid for it, or Walk-in.
  • Owner - who holds it, or Not assigned.
  • Issued Value - what it was worth when issued.
  • Balance - what's left on it now.
  • Issued Date and Location - when and where it was issued.
