Performance dashboard
The Performance dashboard shows how your business is doing on one page. Each figure is compared with an earlier period, and charts show how it changed day by day.
Open the dashboard
- 1
From the main menu, go to Reports.
- 2
Under Dashboards, click Performance dashboard. It opens for the last 30 days at all locations, compared with the 30 days before.
Click Back or All reports to return to the report list.
Change the dates and comparison
- 1
Click the date range and choose a preset, such as Last 7 Days, Current Month or Last 3 Months, or pick your own start and end dates.
- 2
Click Compare to and choose what to compare against:
- Previous period - the same number of days just before your date range.
- Previous year - the same dates one year earlier.
- No comparison - hide the comparison badges and the dashed comparison lines.
Each figure shows a badge with how much it went up or down against the comparison period. A dash means there was nothing to compare against.
Charts show one point per day for ranges up to about three months, one per week up to a year, and one per month for longer ranges.
Filter by location and team member
- 1
Click Filters.
- 2
Tick one or more Locations and Team members. Locations only show when you have more than one.
- 3
Click Apply. To start again, click Clear filters.
The filters you applied show above the dashboard. Click x on one to remove it, or click Clear all to remove them all.
With a team member filter, the dashboard shows only their sales, the appointments they're booked on and their own working hours.
What's on the dashboard
- Total sales - your sales split into services, service add-ons, products, packages, gift cards and cancellation fees, with a chart of sales over time.
- Average sale value - sales divided by the number of sales. Cancellation fees aren't included.
- Online sales - sales from appointments that clients booked online.
- Sales by channel - your sales split between Online booking and Offline, as a bar for each day.
- Appointments - appointments scheduled in the date range, split into Completed, Not completed, Cancelled and No shows.
- Occupancy rate - booked hours as a share of the hours your team is scheduled to work, with working, unbooked and booked hours.
- Returning client rate - the share of clients you saw in the date range who had visited before, with new clients, walk-ins and returning clients.
Click View report on a panel to open the full Sales or Appointments report.
How the figures are worked out
- Sales are after discounts, before tax and tips. Each sale counts on the day of its first payment, in its location's time zone.
- Appointments count on the day they're scheduled for, whatever their status.
- Working hours come from each service provider's regular schedule. A team member's booked time on a day counts up to their scheduled hours that day, so the occupancy rate never goes over 100%.
- Returning clients visited before the date range at any of your locations. Walk-ins have no client profile, so they're counted apart and aren't part of the rate.
