Manage client rewards

A reward is a treat you give a client: a thank-you, a birthday gift or a way to make up for a visit that didn't go well. It's kept in the client's Wallet until it's used at checkout, removed or it expires.

Reward types

  • Amount discount - a fixed amount off, for example $10 off.
  • Percentage discount - a percentage off, for example 15% off.
  • Free service - one of the services you choose, at no charge.
  • Free product - one of the products you choose, at no charge.

Add a reward

  1. 1

Go to Clients, open the client's profile and select Wallet.

  2. 2

    Under Rewards, click Add reward.

  3. 3

    Choose a reward type.

  4. 4

For a discount, enter the Discount value. For a free service or product, click Select and tick the items the client can choose from.

  5. 5

The reward is named after its value, for example $10 discount. To give it a name of your own, tick Set a custom reward name and enter up to 48 characters. Clients see this name, so make sure it matches what the reward does.

  6. 6

For a discount, choose what it can be used on under Apply discount to. Services, products and packages are all included at first. Click Edit next to one to pick only some items, and tick or untick Gift cards.

  7. 7

Set any Redemption limits, then click Add.

Redemption limits

  • Set a minimum purchase amount to use this reward - the sale must reach this amount before the reward can be applied.
  • Allow this reward to be used with deals - lets the reward and a cart discount go on the same sale. Leave it off to allow only one or the other.
  • Allow this reward to expire if not used by client - choose 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, counted from the day the reward is added.
  • Limit this reward to in-store use only - rewards are applied by your team at checkout, so this is always on for now.

View or remove a reward

Click a reward in the wallet to see what it applies to, its limits, when it expires and who added it.

To remove an active reward, click the bin icon on it, or Remove in its details, and confirm. Removing a reward can't be undone: it leaves the client's wallet straight away.

See rewards activity

Click View activity next to Rewards to see everything that happened to the client's rewards, newest first: when each one was added, used (with the amount it took off and the sale), removed or expired, and who did it.
